From 2009 through 2011 Ron and Travis Cadman acquired a portfolio of over 150 single-family homes in Maricopa County, AZ. These properties were purchased through the trough of the subprime mortgage crisis. The portfolio focused on key criteria such as target zip codes, 1990 or newer builds with a minimum 3 bed 2 bath and attached garages. The homes were subsequently integrated into the rental portfolio, maintained, and ultimately sold for significant gains.
